Magelang, The Indonesia Herald - Prasidha 93 art community held an art exhibition titled Gatra Akyati at Limanjawi Art House gallery, Borobudur, Magelang. The exhibition is dedicated to Aming Prayitno, who inspired and encouraged many to create art.
At the opening of the exhibition, the Chairperson of the 'Gatra Akyati' Exhibition, Agni Tripratiwi explained that Prasidha 93 has entered the age of 30 years, certainly more mature and mature in art.
"The long journey in the world of fine arts, especially painting, has proven that Prasidha members are more stable and serious in their work, and some friends have even made a name in the world of Indonesian fine arts," she explained (2/2).
The author of the exhibition, Alex Luthfie R, in his introduction reminds us that living the life of a painter is certainly not easy, it requires a competitive spirit as a catalyst for success to achieve brilliant achievements. Success in the profession can be achieved by improving the balance between body and soul; the soul is the spiritual core and self-awareness, while the body is the physical part that allows humans to interact with reality.
"Being an artist will face many challenges such as career, sustenance, mental and recognition. Choosing a profession as a painter requires expertise, education and intelligence. In developing a profession profession needs the support of knowledge, experience and communication skills.
Fighting for one's profession can be done in several ways, or it requires governance to exist and achieve fame. Art and self-identity are achievements that must be fought for and become the ideal ideal for a painter who wants to achieve for painters who want to achieve achievements, reach misuwur or Akyati (fame)," he explains.
In addition, Prasidha 93 has become a creative movement that can make him famous, not give up easily, continue to learn by expanding social networks in the arts and the general public.
The exhibition was officially opened by Suwarno Wisesotromo, and attended by hundreds of art appreciators who came from various cities in Indonesia.
The exhibition took place from 2 - 18 February 2025 at Limanjawi Art House, Magelang, Central Java.
