Lumajang - Maarif NU Educational Institution "Excellent Quranic School" MI Nurul Islam Labruk Kidul held a workshop with the theme "Capacity Building for Implementing the Merdeka Curriculum" which was held for 2 days, Sunday-Senin (9-10/7/2023).
The Merdeka Curriculum Implementation Capacity Building Workshop brought in the speaker Dr. Aan Fardani Ubaidillah, S.Pd, M.M.Pd., lecturer at State University of Malang (UM).
"We want to improve Human Resources, especially for Educators and Education Personnel in general with the aim of developing education, especially education in MI Nurul Islam Labruk Kidul in order to realize better changes," said Ustadz Sahroni, S.Pd as Rois at MI Nurul Islam Labruk Kidul.
Furthermore, Ustadz Sahroni said that the workshop was attended by all MI Nurul Islam Labruk Kidul educators and education personnel.
"On the first day it was filled with various Merdeka curriculum materials while the second day was filled with practice, thus hopefully what the institution aspires to in realizing educational changes, especially for students at MI Nurul Islam Labruk Kidul which implements the Merdeka Curriculum in 2023, will be better than the previous year," he explained.
On the first day the participants analyzed the characteristics of the institution in the form of advantages, weaknesses and also what opportunities are owned by MI Nurul Islam Labruk Kidul institution while on the second day by Mr. AAN, his greeting as a resource person, invited the participants to gymnastics and play several games before the implementation of material and practice so that in the workshop activities in learning more fresh and good.
"MI Nurul Islam Labruk Kidul already has extraordinary potential, the teachers also have a good learning spirit and the Head of Madrasah opens up the widest possible creativity for educators and my advice is that teachers must work together to complement each other and welcome this Merdeka curriculum as an opportunity to innovate, not as a burden. because the Merdeka curriculum provides ample space for madrasas and the good things that exist in MI Nurul Islam Labruk Kidul must be maintained and continued, "said Dr. Aan Fardani Ubaidillah, S.Pd, M.M.Pd.
"We are grateful for the speakers because a lot of knowledge was gained during these two days, hopefully next time the speakers can join again, and the new knowledge that has been obtained hopefully can be useful" said Ustadzah Inatul Husriyah, S.Pd. as PKM (Assistant Head of Madrasah) in the Curriculum section.
