Indonesia’s antigraft Facebook movement

Indonesian Facebookers prove that they have an effective tool to mobilize a protest against last week’s arrest of two anti-graft body officers: Facebook group.

A Facebook group has surpassed its goal of one million members in support of Indonesia’s embattled antigraft deputies, Chandra Hamzah and Bibit Samad Riyanto. The membership tally was approaching 1,010,000 as of mid-morning on Saturday.

Musicians support KPK through songs

Yeah, you can freely choose your own effort; your own language in supporting an issue or a movement. And music is one of the languages!

Adding a slight twist to movie soundtrack “Garuda Di Dadaku” (Garuda in My Heart), which his band sang for a recently released family entertainment film, Bagus – along with composer Fariz R.M. and singer Once – states his support for the currently troubled Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
